We’re experts at creating gorgeous, custom lighting designs that compliment your color pallet, theme and overall design. We utilize some of the best lighting fixtures in the industry to enhance your special moments.

With our owner and founder David having extensive experience in live sound, providing our clients with full, crisp, and clear sound is paramount. Our goal is to ensure that your guest are fully engaged and can hear every spoken word while providing sound that motivates your crowd to dance.

David & Matt take pride in being live mix DJ’s that perform at your reception from start to finish. Nothing we do is ever pre recorded, everything that we do and play is live giving us the ability to adapt to your guest while infusing your musical style along with our unique mixing techniques .

Various companies may offer similar services, however with the right amount of research you will soon find that there is a difference. As full time DJ’s we take your event very seriously. Our pricing is based on our High Quality Standards, LED Intelligent Lighting, High-End Pro Audio Sound System, and our DJ’s Live Mixing Ability!

Our process

Hey everyone! We’re so excited to meet you. This is the first step in getting to know you, and your wedding vision. We’ll be meeting with you either in person or over Zoom, depending on where you are located. We want to make sure that you are comfortable with us before we get started. After all, choosing your wedding DJ is a big deal and we want to make sure everything goes smoothly and exactly how you want it! Once we’ve discussed your vision and expectations, we’ll be able to suggest packages and service options that will suit your needs.

Once you’ve decided that Power Sounds (David or Matt) are the right fit for you as your wedding DJ we can move forward with scheduling.
The first step is to determine which package and service options will best suit your wedding. We can then draw up a contract to secure your date in writing, and we require a down payment before we officially lock in the date.
Once your down payment is secured we are officially locked in for your wedding date!

Your final consultation is your final meeting with David or Matt before your wedding day. During this meeting we will go over all of the specific details of your wedding from music selection, order of events, and gather any other details pertaining to the services that we will be providing on your wedding day.
We will also take time to get to know you personally and what makes you tick as a couple. This is important because it allows us to create an atmosphere that is tailored specifically for you.
The consultation process is an opportunity for us to learn more about each other and ensure that we are all on the same page regarding expectations for the day. We want everyone involved in planning your big day to feel comfortable and confident in their roles so that they can relax and enjoy themselves when it comes time for us to perform at you wedding ceremony, reception, or both.

THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! When I got engaged I knew the most important part of the wedding would be the music. The first vendor I had to reserve was Power Sounds!!! They are the best of the best and perfectly tailor everything. They are family owned and operated, which was really important to us as well. Now let me tell you, when it came to the wedding. IT WAS THE BEST! They crushed the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and mainly the reception. The dance floor was packed the entire time! They also brought out the most incredible additions - cold sparks sparklers and CO2 guns (WHICH WERE AMAZING)! I still have so many people talking about how they loved dancing the night away! I cannot begin to express how impressed I was with Matt and his team. They are family owned and operated which means so much to me and not only that, they SLAY!! I cannot tell you how many times I have heard since the wedding what a fun time it was and if the blisters on my feet tell you anything, its that I danced the night (and my skin) away because he played every hit and MORE! Before I even got a chance to speak to Power Sounds I heard wonderful reviews from wedding vendors at the JW Bridal Show. Once I finally got around to Power Sounds wedding booth I knew that my DJ search had ended. Evelyn was so personable and answered all my questions at the bridal show and was so prompt with emails when booking. When my husband and I had our meeting to discuss music and order of events it felt like we had known the DePaz family for years.
